I offer a personalized service to clients with legal problems in the areas of criminal, traffic, aviation, litigation, employment and relationship property law.
A key feature of my law practice is that clients can communicate directly with me rather than through layers of staff. The personal touch reduces client stress and increases the cost effectiveness of the services I provide. I strive to produce a good result at the earliest possible time.
I was born and raised in Dunedin and have practised law here since 1981. I was educated at John McGlashan College (1958 - 1965), Otago Boys High School (1966 - 1968) and the University of Otago (1972-1974 & 1977 - 1980).
I was capped Bachelor of Arts in 1974 and Bachelor of Laws in 1980. At the end of 1980 (after completing the law professionals course) I was admitted to the bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and have been practicing law for 38 years.
I have something extra to offer the aviation client in that I have worked within the aviation industry and understand aviation and aviation people. You don't have to pay for the time required to educate a lawyer in your area of expertise. I will understand what you are talking about.
My experience and expertise in aviation law, aviation writing and flying as commercial pilot and flying instructor were recognised in August 2018 when I was elected a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
